About Our Kids Ministry
Our Searchlights Kids Ministry Program is designed to provide a fun, engaging, and meaningful environment for kids to learn about Jesus each week! Our amazing team of volunteers use Bible-based lessons to help teach the Bible in a way that is age-appropriate and relevant to their lives. Our time with kids is filled with worship, Bible stories, hands on activities & crafts, object lessons, and weekly take-home tips to help equip our kids to live out their faith!
Check-In Process
Check in time begins at 3:45 PM. Upon arrival, families will check their kid(s) in utilizing our online check-in system. A volunteer will be there to assist you!
Class Ages: Our Infant & Toddler Classroom is for ages 0-2 years, our Preschool & Kindergarten Classroom is for ages 3-5/6 years, and our Elementary Classroom is for 1st – 6th graders.
Interested in Volunteering in Kids Ministry?
Our children’s ministry program is possible because of our amazing volunteers! If you wish to volunteer, we would love to have you! Volunteering in kids ministry is also a great way to help connect with other amazing church families! Here are a few things to know about our volunteers:
- Volunteers are asked to volunteer 1x every 4-5 weeks, unless they prefer to do it more frequently, of course!
- Volunteers can sign up for the week & age group of their preference.
- Volunteers are given all lesson materials & information prior to their volunteer day, and all classroom set up will be done ahead of time.
- Background checks are required for all kid's ministry volunteers.
