The Why:

We at Searchlights Church are passionate about being a church that doesn't want anyone to suffer in silence. We all have times where we can feel alone and like we have no one to talk to about the important things in life. Jesus' church should be the place we can turn for not perfect people, but Godly people who listen, care, pray, and advise you biblically. When left alone to our thoughts, we can find ourselves internally spiraling, becoming the most unhealthy when we struggle to take them captive. We can dismiss our situation by believing it's not important, nobody will listen, and that we don't need to talk because we will work through it ourselves. We can often obsess over those thoughts and those dark thoughts can cause us to hold in a lot of pain and needless suffering.  A lighthouse does not move. You must get up and go to it... We are here to help.
